Hello everybody!! My name is Mikaylah and I'm the founder, and chief editor of The Daily Salad. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this blog. I'm a native of Baton Rouge, LA currently studying at Loyola University New Orleans. I'm also a proud student activist in the New Orleans community working with the chapter of Students for Democratic Society at Loyola. I was honored to be elected to their steering committee and to work on their blog (although all views expressed here are solely my own). Here, the plan is to write my thoughts on political theory and the latest hot-button issues. This website will also serve as an archive for speeches and talks that I've given either in audio or video format. That all is to say, I hope you enjoy your time here at The Daily Salad.
